He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Rafert and Helen Rafert (Dunbier); his son Daniel Glenn; his siblings, Harley Rafert (Marilyn) and Gladys Cunningham (Percy); and his brother-in-law Guy Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Jlee 'Lee Rose Rafert (Miller) of Shelby; his daughters, Loraine Smith (Gene) of Whiting, Jean Regier (Kent) of Henderson, Kathy Micek of Shelby and Peggy (Kent Urban) of Shelby; his siblings, Ruth Ann Barr of Weatherford, TX and Don Rafert (Barb) of Gresham; and also Kenny Alt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Shelby Fire and Rescue or Polk County 4-H in lieu of flowers.
