He was predeceased by: his father William Bruce; his brother-in-law Doug McMahan; his mother-in-law Sumiko Lerch; and his sister-in-law Connie Crowell. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Ann Hoeft (Kucera) of Lincoln; his wife Laura Mae Lerch of Shelby; his daughters, Arlene Orr (John) of Omaha, Kaylyn Pearson (Kenny) of Shelby and Leann Petersen of Shelby; his grandchildren, Gage Orr, Kamille Orr, Kenny Pearson Jr., Kingston Pearson and Stiles Petersen; and his siblings, Kathy Farahbod (Nader) of Lincoln, Julie McMahan of Lincoln, Mike Hoeft (Beth) of Columbus and Shelly Westfall of Lincoln. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later.
