He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jacob and Dorothy Augusta DeRyke (Hansel); his former wife Julie Patrick; and his sisters, Maxine Meints (Delmer), Donna Shew (Arnold), Ruth Vandegrift (Bill) and Betty Barnard.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Lynn Leeper of Shelby; his son Travis DeRyke of Lincoln; his stepchildren, Brian Petersen of Hubble, Ryan Hanak of Richland, Desaray Crampton of Omaha and Amelia Blum (Daniel) of Omaha; his grandchild Haley Hanak; his sister Karla Hill (Wayne) of Filley; and his brother-in-law Jerry 'JB Barnard of Marysville, KS. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
