He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Micek and Frances Micek Kosiba (Stachura); his brothers, Jack Micek and Eugene "Butch" Micek; his nephew Doug Micek; and his brother-in-law Duane "Bones" Bright.
He is survived by: his close friend Helen Hohndorf of Shelby, NE; his sisters, Joann Bright of Shelby, NE and Nancy Fisher (Lanny) of Columbus, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Micek and Dianne Micek of Columbus. He is also survived by Aunt: Martha Stachura Many Nieces and Nephews.
