He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Funkhouser and Edna K. Funkhouser (Mahnken); and his wife Carolyn L. Hartig. He is survived by: his stepson Brian Petersen of Hubbell; and his sister Judy Hall of Holt, Missouri. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
