She was predeceased by : her parents, Hans Suckstorf and Lillian Suckstorf (Kumm); her former life partner Wayne Metteer; her son John Metteer; her siblings, Donald Suckstorf, Mardell Neal and Carolyn Kool; and her granddaughter Alexis Laible.

She is survived by : her husband Ronald Laible of Shelby; her sister-in-law Wilma Suckstorf of York; her children, Charlotte Alt (Dan) of Shelby, Eugene Metteer (Dori) of Shelby and Joseph Peery of Sioux Falls, SD; and her stepchildren, Hally Ziegler (Kurt) of Bloomfield, Angela Weber of Creighton, Thomas Laible (Gina) of Merna, Dustin Laible (Lori) of Emmet, Laurie Steinhauser of Creighton and Shane Steinhauser of Purdum. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
