Joyce Ann Bodtke Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Ann Bodtke of Shelby, Nebraska, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Versaw and Mildred Versaw; her sister Marilyn; her brother-in-law Jerry Althouse; and her grandchildren, Andrew and Lana Place.

She is survived by: her husband Roger Bodtke of Shelby, NE; her children, Leanne McCance (Chuck) of Chadron, NE, Tammy Place (John) of Edmond, OK, Jody Reed (Mike) of Reno, NV and Kevin Bodtke (Josie) of Wichita, KS; and her siblings, Mike Versaw of Lincoln, Marty Versaw (Mary) of Lincoln, Luanne Versaw of Lincoln, Luetta Versaw of Lincoln and Jenna Kempkes (Bill) of Lincoln. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Due to current indoor COVID-19 restrictions, the service will be limited to immediate family only: including Joyce's husband, siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
