He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Fredrich and Lola Richter (Walford); his grandparents, Chelsea Gerber, Kira, Krysten, Michael Darling, Blake, Lydia Darling and Emma Lambert; and his wife Janet Maureen Knight.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Darling (Sandra) of Cedaredge, CO, Laura Federico (Joe) of Omaha, Janna Ainsworth (Tim) of Seward and Lesley Hiemer (Tim) of Chapman; his grandchildren, Jenee Livingston (Jason), Fred, Jo Ainsworth, Jacob Ainsworth (Skylr), Tanner Hiemer (Delanie), Terryn Gress (Keith) and Ashley Gerber; his great grandchildren, Ember, Ashlynn Frerichs, Felix Vanmiddlekoop and Mason Gress; his nephew Terry Richter; his pet Punky; and also VanOrnam. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
