Marose; her child Kristofer Marose (Tomomi); her grandchildren, Naomi and Kengo; her siblings, Bruce Bessert (Karla), David Bessert, Carolyn Brutlag (Joel), Pamela Faye, Timothy Bessert (Betsy), Margaret Leapley (Kurt) and Michael Bessert (Gianna); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Ann Holmes (John), Deb Ward (Scott) and Dan Marose (Natalie). She was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Brookfield Lutheran Church's Music Ministry, or Concordia University Nebraska's Music Program in Sherry's honor.
