She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Wolfer; her parents, Arthur Burkey and Amanda Burkey (Stutzman); her siblings, Perry (Teresa), Lorence (Floy), Marlin, Alda Swartzendruber (Lloyd) and Verda White (Clayton); her daughter Cynthia Kay; and her brother-in-law Eldon Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Wolfer (Regina), Dan Wolfer (Candace) and Linda Helmuth (Wes); her grandchildren, Matt Wolfer (Bailey), David Wolfer (Samantha), Blake Wolfer (Janette), Paige Zook (Jalon), Schyler Wolfer, Leyton Wolfer, Amanda Miller (Andrew), Nate Helmuth (Krista), Emily Dyer (Tyler), Ben Helmuth (Caroline), Mary Borkholder (Leighton) and Stewart Helmuth; her sister Arla LeAnn Miller (Eldon); and her sisters-in-law, Margie Burkey (Marlin) and Mary Wolfer (Les) of McMinnville. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volzke Funeral Home (147 Main St, Seward, NE 68434). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Country Church (3219 A Street Rd, Seward, NE 68434).
