She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Niewedde and Amanda Niewedde (Luebbe); her husband Raymond Schildt; and her siblings, Dale, Dean Niewedde and Lois Vollstedt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delta Kovar (Dan) of Seward, Margaret Krieser (Russell) of Lincoln, Lana Capek (Randy) of Tobias and Joan Pearson (Orville) of Seward, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Dale Kovar, Darin Kovar (Kamile), Daneen Kovar (Mark Craig), Sara Koelling (Karl), Aaron Krieser, LaDawn Sperling (Dana), Patrick Capek (Michelle Deprez), Tamara Cutler (Brandon), Ryan Pearson (Jennifer), Jared Pearson (Emilie) and Cole Pearson (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Mason, Bailee, Miles Kovar, Vincent, Vanessa Koelling, Paul, Jane Krieser, Logan, Alyssa Capek, Brett, Claire Cutler, Jackson and Carter Pearson.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Volzke Funeral Home (147 Main St, Seward, NE 68434). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church - Middle Creek.
