He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Lehr (John) and Lillian Lehr (Scherer); his daughter Lori Lehr; his stepfather William Meyer; his brother Gerald; his sister-in-law Joan Lehr; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Hulda Garber; his sister Marilyn; his brother-in-law Bud'Hans; and his niece Lynette Hans.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Lehr of Seward, Nebraska; his daughter Linda Tegler (Don Baldwin) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Mikayla Tegler of Lincoln, David Tegler of Lincoln, Keith Baldwin of Lincoln and Amy Baldwin (Brad Alexander); and his great grandchildren, Sloane, Jovie and Perry of Bennington, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was one of the founders of the St. John Foundation.
