Though Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Cain and Margaret Cain (Deremer); and his son Dennis Cain. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Obrist of Stromsburg; and his children, Janice Steinkamp (Terry) of Lincoln, Gary Cain (Doris) of Fort Collins, CO and Dean Cain (Suzanne) of Almont, MI. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Perdue Funeral Home - Seward (410 Jackson Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Utica United Methodist Church (700 2nd St, Utica, NE 68456). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Utica Cemetery (4607 McKelvie Rd, Utica, NE 68456).
