She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Beckman and Ella Beckman (Ahlschwede); her brother Mervin; and her siblings-in-law, Veda Beckman and Wayne Fehlhafer.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Duffek of Seward, Nebraska; her daughter Jennifer Hermsen of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandsons, Ryne and Calder Hermsen; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Dr. Roger Meyer of Utica, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; numerous family members and friends.
