He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leon and Grace Catherine Settle (Torrey); and his brothers, Wayne and Duane Settle. He is survived by: his wife Donna Settle; his stepchildren, Jeremy Gehle (Jennifer), Lincoln and Sonya Garcia (Toby) of Meeker, CO; his stepgrandchildren, Deacon Gehle, Hunter Garcia, Hayden Garcia and Hoyt Garcia; and his sisters, Patricia Settle of Florida and Diane Caccavale of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Zabka - Perdue Funeral Home - Seward (410 Jackson Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Seward Cemetery (1700 State Hwy 15, Seward, NE 68434).
