It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Duffek of Seward, Nebraska, born in Brainard, Nebraska, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Kobza and Elizabeth Kobza (Duhon); her husband Richard J. Duffek; and her son Richard A. Duffek. She is survived by: her children, Judy Barber (Daniel Duffek) of Lincoln and Mark Duffek (James Duffek) of Dwight; her grandchildren, Tony Duffek (Kelly), Drew Duffek, Jerod Duffek (JonAnn), Andrea Schulzkump (Jeremy), Stazy Shay (Jory) and Jordyn Duffek; and her great grandchildren, McKena, Owen Duffek, Cole, Lane Schulzkump, AnnaBelle Duffek, Zayden Shay and Odin Duffek.
