She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schaefer and Luella Schaefer (Herring); her sister Maxine; and her siblings-in-law, Herb Folkerts, Virgil, Leona Haase, Ervin Haase, Viola Rueth, Cliff and Judy Haase.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Haase of Seward; her children, Gary Schaefer (Julie) of Seward, Diane Forst (Randy) of Lincoln, Elaine Richters (Terry) of Seward, Lorraine Leininger (Mike) of Seward and Chuck Haase (Melissa) of Seward; her grandchildren, Troy Schaefer, Travis Schaefer, Matt Schaefer, Jason Schaefer, Tonya Forst, Jared Forst, Renee Jurgensmeier, Tyler Richters, Derek Leininger, Kelsi Leininger, Kolby Haase and Dalton Haase; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Wren (Don) of Seward, Hanziena Svoboda of Surprise, Elly Polivka of Arizona and Anna Dasher of Nebraska City. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; sister, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
