He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Craig and Betty Craig (Tuma); his in-laws, Fred and Ethel Severin; his cousins, Bruce, Jane Craig and Morris Craig; his brother-in-law Frankie Charipar; his nephew Rick Charipar; and his grandson Thomas Howard Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Severin of Seward, Nebraska; his daughters, Jody Craig of Lincoln, Nebraska and Jill Martin (Thom) of Seward, Nebraska; his granddaughters, McKenzie Martin, Zoey Martin and Coralynn Martin of Seward, Nebraska; his sisters-in-law, Dianne Hellbusch (Wayne) of Columbus and Darlene Charipar of Leigh, Nebraska; and his cousins, Lynn Craig (Julie) of Clemson, Doug Craig (Brooke) of Ashland, Nebraska and Debbie Goldsby (Lucas) of Knob Noster, Missouri.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Friedens United Church of Christ (339 N 4th St, Seward, NE 68434). The inurnment was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Inurnment Leigh Cemetery.
