With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene D. Hallberg of Seward, Nebraska, born in Wahoo, Nebraska, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hallberg and Frances Hallberg (Bayless); his parents-in-law, Maurice (Jack) and Audrey Moffett; his sister Eldora; his siblings-in-law, Delmar Sagert, Kathy (Jim Loschen) and David Moffett (Roger Gonnerman); and his nephews, Scott Sagert and Marc Moffett.
He is survived by: his wife Tooty Hallberg; his children, Jeff (Andi Hallberg), Gina (Tom Laible), Merna and James (Angie Hallberg) of Colwich, KS; his grandchildren, Tyson Springer, Garrett Hallberg (Paige), Bryan Watson (Kirsten), Cheyenne Hallberg, Autumn Hallberg (Ryly), Shaelynn Rangel (Simon), Parker Laible (Ali), Calyn Laible (Sam Loy), Delaynie Laible (McKaden Smith), Carleigh Laible, Tristan Smith, Louden Smith, Jordan Hallberg (Jansyn Andreas), Kennedi Hallberg and Jaxon Hallberg; his great grandchildren, Ethan Watson, Ella Watson, Brynley Watson, Breckenn Luebbe, Payson Rangel and Maverick Laible; his brother Ed; his sister-in-law Lois Hallberg of Cheyenne, WY; his sister Elaine Gonnerman; and his sister-in-law Dianne Moffett of Mangum, OK.
