Engelbert B. Hrnicek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Engelbert B. Hrnicek of Seward, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Engelbert may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Engelbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A rosary will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (152 Pinewood Ave, Seward, NE 68434). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Inurnment Assumption Catholc Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or Horisun Hospice.
