Engelbert B. Hrnicek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Engelbert B. Hrnicek of Seward, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Engelbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Engelbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Engelbert J. Hrnicek and Katherine Hrnicek (Soukup). He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Hrnicek of Mary's Catholic Church; and his children, Randy (Chris Hrnicek) of Cary, NC, Noreen (Ken Pinkerton), Lincoln, Beth (Rich Kikla) of Carlisle, PA, Marty Hrnicek of Blair, NE and Eric (Peggy Hrnicek). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
