It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Lee Stanard Hartshorn of Seward, Nebraska, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Standard and Estelle Standard (Gilson); her husband John Hartshorn; her sons, Melvin and Douglas; and her siblings, Warren, Waldo, Dora, Lillian, Ruth and Vivian.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hartshorn (Joette) of Garland, NE and Carla Snoad (David) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Jason Hartshorn (Susie), Janae Niebrugge (Bryan), Ben Hartshorn (Angela), Tara West (Steven), Michael Hartshorn (Danielle) and Rachel Hartshorn-Hightshoe (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Amanda, Allie Hartshorn, Knox Niebrugge, McKinley, Jonathan Hartshorn, Sadie West, Arianna, Braylee Hartshorn, Morgan, Holton and Keaton Hightshoe; and also Brad Hartshorn (Lorraine) of Spring Hill, KS.
