He is survived by: his daughter Kyla Bradlynn Chaffin; his friend Bill W; his wife Ellen Chaffin (Kolterman); his stepson Zac Dittmar; his grandsons, Quinton Moreira, James Moreira and Eli Moreira; his mother-in-law Betty Jean Kolterman; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Kolterman, Clark Kolterman (Linda) and Paul Kolterman (Charlene).
