He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Russell and Elsie Russell (Nelsen); and his siblings, Merlin Russell and Karen Bedgood. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Russell (White) of Seward; his children, Leo Kent Russell of Wisconsin, James Russell, Lincoln and Kathy; and his sons-in-law, James Lummus (Diane) of Ankeny and David Swartzlander of Seward. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
