He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Vollstedt and Lois Vollstedt (Niewedde); his son Jeff; his parents-in-law, Chester and Margaret Suellwold; his sister Bonnie Jean Vollstedt; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Koranda, Jr., Jan and Karl Hoehler.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Vollstedt; his daughters, Jenny (Jason Brase), Julie (Chad Phillips) and Janelle (Travis Schaefer); his grandchildren, Jalynn Brase, Jeana Brase, Janessa Brase, Sabryn Phillips, Cooper Phillips, Jagger Phillips, River Phillips, Traetyn Schaefer, Talan Schaefer and Jeffi Schaefer; his sisters, Lodeen Koranda and Cheryl (Dan Gray); and his brother-in-law Doug (LeAnn Suellwold).
