He is survived by: his wife Nina Ann Murphy of Seneca; his children, Gennie Smith (Ryan) of Tryon and Bo Hardy of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Tisha Jo, Tiffany, Eli, Aevyn, Elly, Gabby, Maddox, Amber, Ashley, Joshua and James. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
