She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Kienbaum and Edna Kienbaum (Thernes); her husband Marvin Klahn; her son-in-law Darrell Carlson; her siblings, Neil Kienbaum and Roxanne Mead; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Kienbaum, Orville Von Seggern and Roger Holmes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Volline Von Seggern of Fremont, Nola Schulenberg of Oregon, Nita Holmes of Omaha and Nile Kienbaum of Snyder; her daughters, Julie Goertzen (Dale) of Henderson, Mary Lou Klahn of Omaha, Barb Carlson of Hooper and Betty Valverde (Rusty) of Elkhorn; her grandchildren, Casey Carlson (Emily), Annie Curttright (Bobby), Andrew Klahn and Angela Babb (Bryan); and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Piper Carlson and Asher Curttright. She is also survived by her two grandsons, two granddaughters and great-grandson.
