He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Burkink and Catherine Toelle Burkink (Teena); and his wife Susie. He is survived by: his daughter Marla Weeks (Jason) of Ft. Calhoun; his grandchildren, Sophie and Jacob Weeks; his siblings, Cathie O'Neill (Leonard) of Kalamazoo, MI, Michael Burkink (Jackie) of Cozad, Timothy Burkink (Laura) of Kearney and Pat Burkink (Stacey) of Norfolk; and his aunt JoAnn Dahl of Scribner.
