It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn J. Herbolsheimer of Scribner, Nebraska, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herbolsheimer and Edith Herbolsheimer (Boll); his son James John; his sister Dorothy; his stepmother Frieda; and his mother-in-law Leona Mahrt.

He is survived by: his wife Marleen Mauch; his daughter Peggy Volpp (David); and his brother Gerald Herbolsheimer (Bonnie). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren along with two nephews and many cousins.

Family suggests memorials be directed to the Scribner Volunteer Fire Department.
