He was predeceased by: his parents, Oltman Hilbers and Wilma Hilbers; his siblings, Wayne and Karilyn Alberts; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Meyerink.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Von Seggern; his daughters, Pam Pribnow (Jeff), Sandra Tigges (Brian), Suzanne Van Ampting (Jeremy) and Linda Howard (Bernie); his siblings, Raymond (Pauline), Vernon (Dianne), Dennis (Kathy), Loran (Robin) and Anita Backhus (Robert); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Von Seggern (Sue), Mark Meyerink and Donald Alberts. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
He loved to play a good hand of cards and belonged to a couples sheepshead club for 59 years until Covid.
