She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schreck and Viola Schreck (Lass); her son Michael Vice; her granddaughter Chelsie Justina Smidt; and her brothers, Ernest, Jack and Robert Schreck.
She is survived by: her former spouse DeVerle Smidt; her children, Victoria Recker (Terry) of West Point, Patricia Ferguson (Bruce) of North Bend, Steve Smidt (Elizabeth) of West Point and Thomas Smidt (Maria) of Prosser, WA; and her siblings, Doris Orton of Chetek, WI, Claire Smidt of West Point, Richard Schreck of West Point and Leonard Schreck (Debbie) of Scribner. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Scribner Rescue or St. John's Ridgeley Lutheran Church.
