She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Schmidling and Cecelia Schmidling (Schneider); her husband Harold W. Kirchner; her daughter Linda; and her son-in-law Steven Wilkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Kirchner (Patti), David Kirchner (Karen Hynek) of Chandler, Arizona, Constance Kirchner of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Robert Kirchner (Karie) of Omaha, Nebraska, Sandra Butcher (Mark) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Sally Brittan (Mark) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jill Manchester (John) of Chicago, Illinois; and her sister Darlyne Pape of Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Valley Christian Neighbors In Need, care of St Agnes Catholic Church or the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library.
