She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bauer and Katie Bauer; her brothers, Eugene Bauer and William G. Bauer; her siblings-in-law, Pat and Ann; and her sister Betty Wistrom (Dick).
She is survived by: her husband Paul Blome of Scottsbluff; her children, Keith of MacClenny, FL, Kevin of Mitchell, NE, Sharon Twenter (Marvin) of Columbia, MO and Stephanie Blome of Omaha, NE; her granddaughter Ashley Austin (Jeff) of Abeline, KS; her children, Brantley, Bria and Bristol; her grandsons, Brett, Brody Blome of Mitchell, NE and Brandon Twenter of Columbia, MO; her stepgrandchildren, Emilie Mabe (James) of Mountain Grove, MO, Heather Doyle (Dustin) of Tipton, MO, Paul Twenter (Stacey) and Aaron Twenter (Erin) of California, MO; her siblings, Bob Bauer (Helen) of Wheatland, WY and Carol Misterek (Gary) of Rapid City, SD; and her close friend Misti Ybarra (Joe) of Gering. She is also survived by 13 step-great grandchildren and 3 step-great-great grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Vi's honor be made in care of the Nebraska Children's Home or Panhandle Humane Society.
