She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Cano and Florentina Cano (Castillo); her sister Gloria Castillo; and her nephews, Richard Lovato and Anthony Castillo.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel O. Cardona Sr. of Scottsbluff; her children, Jennifer Cardona-Smith (Harley) of Scottsbluff, Samuel Cardona Jr. (Cecelia) of Scottsbluff and Dehlia Cardona (Jesus Galindo-Salinas) of Scottsbluff; and her siblings, Fidela Armendariz, Mary Lovato, Grace Villarreal, Israel Cano, Simon Cano, Roman Cano and Seferina VanPelt. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
