He is survived by: his fiancée Betty J. Propst of Springview, NE; his family, Michael and Kelly; his children, Sandra Mefferd of Chadron, NE and Michael Mefferd (Carmen) of Rapid City, SD; his brother Charles Mefferd of Kearney, NE; his grandchildren, Chancy Stewart of Orchard, NE, Mikalya Bentley of Milliken, CO, Marc Mefferd of Lander, WY, Ty Brown of Marsland, NE and Wil Brown of Loveland, CO; his brother-in-law Elven Propst of Tuscon, AZ; and his great grandchildren, Carter, River, Eli, Nash and Brixleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family for future designation.
