She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Rickenbach and Velma "Sally" Rickenbach (Naylor); and her sister Vicki Roberts. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Janis (Erin Bush) of Tallahassee, FL and Derek Welchlin (Stepheni Pitts) of Scottsbluff; her grandchildren, Hal Lucke Janis, Mikaela Petersen (Austin), Evie Janis, Quentin Janis, Mason Winberg, Wren Janis, Taylor and Remington Eubanks; her sisters, Karen (Forest Dryden) and Jean (Jack Mitchell); her nieces and nephews, Katrina Smith (Todd), Shawn Dryden (Crystal), Danny Mitchell, Bill Mitchell (Kelly), Chad Mitchell, Brad Roberts (Sunshine), Deana Gausman (Justin) and Sally Roberts; her friends, Gay, Bob, Becky, Robert French, Kerri Mathson, Charlie, Dixie Klutts and Maureen "Mo" Sinnot; and her cousin Carolyn Mykris.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the WestWay Christian Church (1701 W 27th St, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's honor be made in care of her family to be designated at a later time.
