She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Cervantes and Julia Salazar; her former husband Nelo Dunquez; her siblings, Andrew, Reynaldo Cervantes and Anita; and her siblings-in-law, Alfonso Serrano, Pete Flores and Carmen Cervantes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Adela "Jo" Serrano of Florida, Jesse Cervantes (Lori) of Omaha, Helen Piña, Joe Cervantes (Marie), Irene Dominguez and Daniel Cervantes (Jeanne); and her sister-in-law Lita Cervantes. She is also survived by numerous god children, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
