He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Reifschneider and Mollie Reifschneider (Loose); his sons, Stanley and Michael; his former wife Donna Carter; and his siblings, Alvin and Louella.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Jeffrey (Lori) of Scottsbluff and Paula Kihlthau (Brad) of Minatare; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Hain of California; his sister Cleora Schmunk (Paul) of Scottsbluff; his grandchildren, Scott Reifschneider (Megan) of Kearney, Phillip Kihlthau (Blessing) of Texas, Erin Shaul (Brady) of Gering, Nichole Shepard (Jared) of Scottsbluff, Ruth, Jackson, Hadley, Riley, Bette, Paige, Truitt, Levi, Gabriel, Sadie and Michael; his extended family Ryan Reiber (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Lindsay Davidson (Peter), Lauren Reiber (Mike Eich) and Madison Reiber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bridgman Funeral Home (2104 Broadway, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Church (3617 5th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken's honor may be given to Zion Evangelical and Bayard Community Bible Church.
