It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juan C. Gonzales (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), born in Magnolia, Texas, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Gonzales and Emma Gonzales (Castillo); and his siblings, Stephen, Pablo Gonzales, Rose Bouws and Virginia Galindo.

He is survived by: his children, Christina of Ogden, KS, Juan Jr. (Naomi) of Phoenix, AZ, David (Kayla) of Bayard, NE, Guadalupe Gonzales of Bayard, NE and Juanita Salinas (Jose) of Ogden, KS; and his siblings, Samuel C. Gonzales, Consuelo Urdiales and Sara Galindo. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

It is respectfully requested that in lieu of any flowers, memorials in Juan's honor may be made to Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard.
