He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cortinas and Eugenia Cortinas (Luna); and his siblings, Domacio and Elida. He is survived by: his wife Jan Cortinas; his stepdaughters, Nikki Schwartzkopf (Willie), Amy Winder (Nahum) and Becky Avila (Andrew Kelley); his son Daniel Cortinas; his siblings, George Cortinas, Pete Cortinas and Anna Barragan; his grandchildren, Zeus, Zena, Seras, Victoria, Brittany, Chris, Mariyah, Emma, Jaxen, Xazavian and Mila; and his nephew Carlos Chavez. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
