It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Todd Gilliland (Scottsbluff, Nebraska), born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Terry Gilliland; and his grandparents, Ruby Vasquez, Elizabeth Gilliland and John Vasquez. He is survived by: his mother Sonya Gilliland (Vasquez); his siblings, Troy Gilliland (Michelle) of Fairview Park, OH, Traci Gilliland of Scottsbluff and Tanya Carter (Mitch) of Castle Pines, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Max, Zane, Cecilia Gilliland of Fairview Park, OH, Hannah Gilliland of Lincoln, NE, Drew Gilliland, Drake Gilliland of Scottsbluff, NE, Lauren Hahn (Ben), Paige Frye (Adam) and Reid Carter of Colorado. He is also survived by four great-nephews, and numerous loving aunts and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Todd to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAML).
