He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koch and Leona Koch (Markheim); his sister Janet; his brother-in-law George Brotzman; his brother Bob Koch; his brothers-in-law, LaVerne Blehm, Bruce Strachan and John Thaxter; and his parents-in-law, Jake and Bernice Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Martin; his daughters, Debra Rahmig (Clay) of Gering, Tammy Henkel (Dan) of Scottsbluff and Kathy Brozek of Surprise, AZ; his siblings, Norma Blehm, Fran Strachan of Gering, Karen Bergy of Colorado and Jim Koch (Ronda) of Gering; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Koch of Scottsbluff, Betty Baker (Jack), Carol Ambergey (Dennis), Cathy Thaxter and Gary Martin of Idaho. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren, many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it is respectfully requested that memorials in John's honor be made in care of the family to be designated at a later date.
