He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dishong and Nora Dishong; and his siblings, Les, Agnes, Leona, Marvin and Jim.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Leah) of Prosper, TX, James (Micale) of Peoria, AZ and Scott (Joni) of Parker, CO.; his wife Margie Gaspers of Rushville, NE.; and his grandchildren, Norah, Cielo, Harrison, Analia (Deuce) and Jake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family.

Contribution to the Broadcast Community in 2018.
