He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Ott and Ester Ott (Meier); and his sister Bonnie Clinesmith. He is survived by: his daughter Allison Cushing (Dave); his grandchildren, Quentin and Sophia Cushing; and his former wife Diane Nelson (Chad). He is also survived by two nieces; several cousins; and numerous friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mitchell Berean Church (50680 Cook Oil Rd, Mitchell, NE 69357).
