He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Benzel and Freida Benzel; his daughter Nancy Benzel; his grandson Timothy Arnold; his nephew Chris Eurich; his niece Diane Yrineo; and his brothers-in-law, Ronny Kae and Harvey Eurich.
He is survived by: his daughter Anne Lyon (Benzel); his wife Sharlene; his grandchildren, Matthew Arnold (Susan), Elizabeth Arnold, Jonathan Arnold (Skye Klutts) and Natasha Diaz; and his sister Carol Eurich.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (2314 3rd Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations will be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Agnes Catholic School.
