He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Robert and Sarah Louise Behnke (Teel); his wife Carolyn Ann Goff; his children, Steve Behnke and Lynne Lehl; his children-in-law, Pamela Behnke of Florida and Mick Lehl of Gering, NE.; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Behnke (Cassie) of Scottsbluff, NE, Jessica Helm (Bryson) of Seabrook, NH, Nicole Curran (Morgan Johnson) of Torrington, WY, Nick Curran (Tina) of Land, Megan Boggs (Chris) of New Zealand and Michael Lehl of Denver, CO.. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Scottsbluff Public Schools Foundation to establish a culinary arts scholarship in Curly's name.
