She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schwabauer and Mollie Asmus; her husband Marvin Hoffman; her siblings, James and Shirley Esrey; and her son Robert.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Hanson of Riverside, CA and Delores Fries (Marvin) of Greeley, CO; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Hoffman (Darlene) of Mitchell, NE and Larry Steinbrecher (Debbie) of Kearney, NE; her children, David Hoffman (Cynthia) of Gering, Kathy Shafenberg (Mike) and Dale Hoffman of Scottsbluff; her grandchildren, Eric Hoffman, Adam Hoffman (Jessica), Stacey Bernal (Denis), Levi Shafenberg (Kari), Megan Betka (Josh) and Mason Hoffman; and her great grandchildren, Diego, Daniel Bernal, Eleanor and Henry Shafenberg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Dorothy's honor be made in care of the church.
