As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Doris may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mogensen and Thelma Mogensen (Chadd); and her sisters, Bev Jordan (Ronald) and Shirley Pollet. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Flaherty (Tom) of Tennessee and Lori Wilson (Bryon) of Scottsbluff; and her grandchildren, Shaun Flaherty (Mandy), Hollie Williams (Jarrod), Jason Flaherty (Andrea) and Cody Wilson (Ally). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Gering Legion Baseball Program.
