He was predeceased by: his father Dan Johnson, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Missy and Deanna (David Norby); his mother Loretta Johnson; his children, Melissa (Dave Schroeder), Dave Schroeder, David Norby and Later; his wife Cathy Downare; his grandchildren, Talia, Thadeous Johnson, Taylor Norby, Jaeden Schroeder, Brooks Norby, Olivia and Hudson Wild; his stepfather Mac McKinnis; and his sisters, Kathy Schuppan (Rod) and Jody Dill. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dan Johnson Memorial in care of the family.
