He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Jordan Bonds and Mattye McLeish Bonds (McLeish); his wife Martha Grace Thompson of Harrisburg, NE.; his daughter Charlene Miller; his siblings, Albert Jr., Robert, William, Emily McCully and Janie Bonds Griffith; his parents-in-law, Robert Thompson and Edith Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Robert Thompson, William Thompson and Pat Thompson; and his great grandchild Aiden Costner.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Bonds (Terry) of Scottsbluff, NE, Philip (Colleen) of Casa Grande, AZ, Carolyn Goldsmith (Geary) of Ft. Worth, TX and Cheryl (Rick) of Lakewood, CO; his son-in-law Gary Miller (Donella) of Aledo, TX; his grandchildren, Heather Hauschild (Jon) of Scottsbluff, NE, Bert Ballard (Sarah) of Centennial, CO, Dustin (Emily) of Arvada, CO, Ashley Costner of Lakewood, CO, Marissa Hernandez (Justin) of Joshua, TX, Mikaylah Goodwin of Aledo, TX and Ty Costner of Lakewood, CO; his great grandchildren, Carson and Cadence Hauschild of Scottsbluff, NE; his grandchildren, Adria, Kyla, Jayden Ballard of Centennial, CO, Logan, Asher Hernandez of Joshua, TX, Adeline Costner of Arvada, CO, AryAnnah and Aliyah Goodwin of Aledo, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Thompson (Barbara) of Harrisburg, NE and Eliza Thompson of Santa Cruz, NM.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Memorial Church or Western Nebraska Veterans Home in memory of Charles L. Bonds.
