He was predeceased by : his parents, John Koch and Leona Koch (Margheim); his siblings-in-law, Dick and Maxine Nerud; his sister Janet Brotzman; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Strachan, LaVern Blehm and George Brotzman.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Nerud; his children, Julie Aschenbrenner (Duane) and Jason Koch (Jennifer); and his siblings, Norma Blehm, Fran Strachan, John "Sonny" Koch (Ruby), Jim Koch (Ronda) and Karen Koch. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the family for designation at a later date.
